Security Camera System

When Ski and I were all locked up with all the shades drawn for the night, it dawned on me that I have absolutely no idea what is going on outside the van unless I lifted one of the shades. The last thing my anxiety needs is someone staring at me when I peek out. I don’t care if it’s a person or Bambi, my day will instantly be ruined.

I knew I did not want to drill anything into my van, Wi-Fi connected so I can view the camera from anywhere, some kind of cloud service to save any / everything, and also some kind of light / alarm system, to hopefully at least startle Bigfoot into moving along if I happen to catch him sneaking around. This Zumimall camera I found fit all that and more, plus it had great reviews.

Great thing is, it rotates 360 degrees, so I can move it around to catch anything, plus it has a mic so I can hear anything going on outside, and it has night vision. The free cloud service level takes a snapshot and saves a few seconds of any movement. I got two, and placed one on the front corner, and one on the back opposite corner. That way from inside of my van, I can view every angle around me.

I also got an indoor cam to keep an eye on Lincoln if I need to leave him in the van alone. It’s actually a baby camera and it’s also Wi-Fi connected. It will alert me if he barks, I’ll be able to talk to him through it, and it also comes with a temperature and humidity monitor. This one also swivels 360 degrees, so no matter where he decides to nap or wander around in the van, I’ll be able to see him. When I need it, Ill just connect it to my power bank, and snap it to a magnet hidden in the vent fan on the ceiling.
